About the role
We are looking for a developer who is comfortable writing JavaScript and wants to grow into a solid engineer. You will turn designs into clean interfaces and wire them up to APIs with the backend team. We do not expect you to know everything — we are looking for strong foundations, a willingness to ask, and the intent to grow quickly.
Responsibilities
Build responsive web interfaces from the UI/UX team's designs
Integrate the frontend with REST APIs
Write clean, structured and documented React code
Take part in code review and pairing sessions with senior engineers
Write unit tests and debug to keep application quality high
Optimise page performance: load speed and Core Web Vitals
Work with the product team to understand what a feature needs to do
Requirements
At least a D3/S1 in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; self-taught with a strong portfolio is equally welcome
0–2 years of experience, or a fresh graduate

A strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+)
Familiar with at least one framework: React.js (primarily) or Vue.js
Understand responsive design and a mobile-first approach
Familiar with the Git/GitHub workflow: branching and pull requests
A basic understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous JavaScript (fetch/axios)
Nice to have: TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, Jest or React Testing Library
A GitHub portfolio with at least 2–3 publicly accessible projects
How we assess you
Your first six months come with intensive mentoring from a senior engineer, including weekly pairing and code review. After that you take ownership of features on your own, on a path from Junior to Mid-Level within 2 years.
